WASHINGTON, DC, October 5, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tracey Y. Stevenson, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of TYS & Associates, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of her career.

A respected authority in uniform apparel, Tracey Y. Stevenson understands that when it comes to school uniforms and children's clothing, there are a lot of factors that go into deciding what is best. Many times, uniform apparel is chosen out of necessity rather than desire. Ms. Stevenson helps her clients know what to expect, and how much money to put aside.

Such expertise does not arrive instantaneously - Ms. Stevenson has worked in sales development for nearly two decades. In 2001, she started TYS & Associates, LLC, a uniform and accessories retail store. As owner and CEO, she is responsible for maintaining client relations, sourcing product suppliers, forecasting sales, analyzing sales figures, training junior staff, offering promotional activities and attending trade fairs in order to stay up-to-date on uniform trends. In the next few years, she anticipates becoming nationally recognized as a leader in her industry.

Recognized with the Jude Children's Research Hospital 2000 Notable Americans Award, Ms. Stevenson is an avid philanthropist. She participates in the annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and hopes to create a nonprofit organization for the benefit of underserved children as she moves forward in her career. Ms. Stevenson holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Chadwick University.
