Boutique Gwendoline is a ladies apparel boutique which was named to honor the late Gwendoline Tisdale Hayes, Katharine's mother. The store offers a full range of women's clothing and accessories including Joseph Ribkoff, Linea Domani, Spanner, Sympli the Best, Tribal, Picadilly, and Ray Cole scarves.

After spending her whole working life in administration, sales, and marketing, Katharine decided to open Boutique Gwendoline so she could be her own boss. She aspires to attract new business to Shawville from both sides of the Ottawa River. Katharine is constantly seeking to find fresh and unique items for the boutique. She recently implemented an exclusive service for mothers, grandmothers, and family of bridal parties. Katharine also provides a personal shopping service when on buying trips to Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and Atlanta, Georgia.

During her educational career, Katharine earned a Bachelor's degree in Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She is a member of the Shawville Lionettes, Fashion Advantage and the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce. For relaxation times, Katharine greatly enjoys music and golfing.
